Granta Design shows updated composite software at Composites Europe 2016

Granta Design will be presenting its latest materials software technology, solutions for managing materials data, and support for the qualification and specification of composites at Composites Europe 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany (19th November – 1st December).

Granta is a specialist in materials information management. It supports the composites industry in sectors including aerospace, automotive, defense, sports equipment, and wind technology. The Granta MI:Composites Package provides a solution for the composite data management challenges in engineering enterprises. It supports rigorous, auditable composite qualification and equivalency processes, and integrated into the same system are authoritative reference sources providing test and design data.

  • Best-practice management of composite data using the Granta MI Version 10 system, due for release in December 2016

  • The recently-released CES Selector 2017 software, which provides graphical tools to analyse the performance of composites relative to other materials

  • Granta in the guided exhibition tours: ‘Composites Solutions in the Wind Energy Industry’ (29th November) and ‘Composites Solutions in the Automotive Industry’ (1st December).
Granta works with companies like Boeing, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Honeywell Aerospace as part of the Materials Data Management Consortium to manage mission-critical materials data. This knowledge is embodied in Granta MI and applied in many engineering companies.
